Our Polyester Strap is used in Automatic Strapping equipment and Hand-held Strapping Tools across a range of industries including: baling, food & beverage, timber, metal, clay brick, concrete block, tile, insulation and logistics. Our strap is available in varying sizes and breaking strengths.

High Break Loads

When strapping heavy loads, PET is often the logical strapping material. With break loads up to 1930KG, it can be used for heavy duty applications such as construction materials & securing metal coils and bundles (i.e. steel, aluminium) where products can have sharp edges and where high strap tension, high load retention and high shock resistance is required.

Ideal Substitute for Steel Strapping

In some cases, PET can be used in place of Steel Strap, resulting in cost savings and other benefits:

• No damage or contamination of packaged goods (PET is corrosion resistant)
• High shock absorption in the event of excessive stress during transport
• Simple & safe handling, low risk of operator injury
• Much less strain on the strapped load’s edges (reduces need for edge protection)

100% Recyclable

FROMM PET Strapping is made from 100% recycled polyester bottles (RPET) and is therefore  exempt from UK Plastic Packaging Tax - It's also fully recyclable!

FROMM produces a range of PET straps to secure packs and pallets for transport.

Starstrap ECO-S. 9-19mm. Special emboss (general strapping applications). 
Starstrap Plus. 9-32mm. Plain or Emboss (high-tension applications).
Starstrap Ultra. 19-32mm. Plain or Emboss (heavy duty strapping/ sharp corners).

Our PET strap is available in various gauges, colours and coil sizes:
Standard, Jumbo, Super Jumbo, Ultra Jumbo.

The majority of our standard (20kg) coils are supplied in Duplex format (24 coils stacked on top of another pallet of 24 coils).  The top pallet can be easily removed and placed on the ground which ensures that warehouse operatives are not reaching above chest height.
