The FROMM Strap Feeder is a versatile, semi-automatic end-of-line strapping solution designed to deliver greater efficiency, consistency and safety in demanding industrial environments.  The system can be equipped with a battery-powered strapping tool for PET or PP strap, or alternatively a pneumatic tool for steel strap, depending on the application requirements. It provides a highly cost-effective bridge between manual strapping and fully automatic systems — improving productivity while maintaining operational flexibility.  Operators can manually position top sheets, corner edge protectors, and labels prior to strapping, ensuring secure, well-presented and transport-ready loads.

Typical applications:  steel coils, aluminium coils, ingots, metal sheets, profiles, alloy wheels, packs of wood, MDF, OSB, chipboard.  Each Strap Feeder system is custom-built to meet individual customer requirements, ensuring optimum integration into existing production processes. 

Standard Features:  Robust heavy-duty metal frame, Arch with stainless steel spring-loaded flaps, Adjustable support arm for floating suspension of hand strapping tool on (optional) spring balancer, battery or pneumatic strapping tool, strap dispenser (standard or jumbo). 

Options:  foot pedal (start/stop), Jumbo strap dispenser, platform, beacon, rails to allow the machine to move along the pack (manual or electric operation), pneumatically driven static or lifting sword to penetrate pallet voids, pack compression (top/side), pneumatically driven lower bearer insertion, circumference strapping of coils. Can be combined with semi-auto turntable stretch wrapper.
